Kalle Anka & C:o (Donald Duck) is Sweden’s most popular comic book, making Kalle Anka a dear friend to generations of Swedes. In collaboration with editor Stina Lodén, Futency provide various content and ideas in order to drive traffic and build engagement.
A noteworthy effort was the campaign Vad heter du i Ankeborg? (What would your name in Duckburg be?) where people could go to a campaign site, submit their name and get their very own Duckburg name, shareable on social media. As it happened, the campaign took place during the weeks running up to the Swedish national elections of 2018 – so we supported it by tweeting the Duckburg names of all the leaders of the major political parties, causing a considerable amount of buzz and giggles. The campaign was a great success, a lot of people had fun getting and sharing their Duckburg names.
